As a developing artist, I am interested in continuing to gain knowledge and experience in lighting design with a focus in theatre. I believe the collaborative process is crucial within the technical side of theatre, as well as with the director and the rest of the production team. As a designer my goal is simply to use lighting to increase the impact and clarity of the story being told. The only way for me as a creative to do this is by understanding this story and the creative vision for the production.
